Delete Branch "remove-backwards-compatibility"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
This removes the backwards commpatibility changes which I added in
b2288fcb9a
. So Lemmy federation will become incompatible with versions 0.8.7 and earlier, but according to the-federation.info, no one is running that anyway. Still, according to semantic versioning, this is a breaking change and should be released as v0.10.0I believe that Nlnet milestone 9 (ActivityPub compliance) is finished with this and #163.
Edit: we could also merge this PR later, when we make 0.10.0 anyway, because technically the current code is valid apub (but probably not as widely supported).
