Actually now that I think of it, this should stay as about_guide.md I want this to be the general guide page not just for markdown.

Not sure yet, but it could be lots of things in the future, or general FAQ stuff. Ideally lemmy shouldn't need instructions, but I realize some things like hotkeys and such are needed.

If we need a FAQ we will add it, but this seems a bit too long for that. And we need to document it somewhere, even if we manage that most people dont need the documentation.

The main thing is that I want to keep the links in the front end to the general guide, not just the markdown one. So we could split the markdown specific stuff into a different sub-category, but I want the about_guide.md url to stay the same.
